The introduction of an information hierarchy was created to clearly identify Norway’s seven focus sectors through distinctive illustrations. This is further developed though iconography to represent industry business areas under the sectors, allowing for clear and consistent communications for different stakeholders and target groups.
Norway is a pioneering ocean nation. With a coastline that is one of the longest in the world, Norway’s marine areas are more than five times as large as the land. For the ocean economy to continue growing, it is vital that we harvest our ocean resources sustainably. Norway has established a strong position within ocean industries and will continue to progress sustainable development through research, innovation and technological advancement.
